Always busy but typical buffet food. I only eat here when in a hurry. Salad and deserts are the best part of Buffett

Don't care for the layout. Never found the mongolian stirfry that was advertised. Signs above stations seem to be completely unrelated to what is located there. Food was decent, and our waiter/busboy was friendly and a hard worker. That made it that much more frustrating that his female colleague was devoting all of her attention to one table and otherwise just wandering around aimlessly. There are too many tables for one man to keep clean on his own.

I've tasted better, had better variety, and for cheaper. But it wasn't that bad. Not really sure it was worth 28 dollars for 3 people.

For an $8 lunch it wasn't bad. Seemed to have a good mix of everything, plenty of salad options, chicken, chopped steak, a bit of Pizza, southern and kind-of-Chinese options. Didn't like the greens too much. They needed about 2 more hours to cook and some kind of flavoring. Maybe things have improved slightly from previous reviews. The bottles of stuff and tables were clean, and the food was mostly hot which always impresses me at a buffet.

Very friendly staff. Food is better than average for a buffet. Enjoyed the salad bar, which I believe has the largest selection around.

Agree it's time to change the menu, everything tastes the same. Buffett OK if you are looking for something quick and you are right in the area. Gave two stars because some of the help is outstanding.

I ate breakfast here on Monday morning, 4 July 2011. The food quality was so so, but the cleaniness of the table and such was horrible. My ketchup bottle was filthy and so was the salt and pepper shakers. The steak sauce bottle was as filthy as my ketchup bottle. This tells me the rest of the place is very filthy too.

I don't know when they remodeled and re-envisioned the place, but I love it! It's in the same vein as a Golden Coral or similar buffets, but I really feel like the setup is nice and the food has a really good variety. I have been here 4 times lately and almost all the food has been warm to hot and the majority of the staff is great! I really like the meat carver, Kenneth. Super friendly and pays special attention to my kids. If you are looking for an American style buffet, you really can't go wrong!

I'm sorry I wanted to like this place but the only thing that even was decent was the salad their soups were horrid fried chicken was tasteless and dry as cardboard and the desserts just tasted like fat no sweetness the staff was very friendly loved them this is not their fault the quality of the food tastes like corporate America saving money and not doing it very appetizingly.

My family decided to go to country buffet last night, we got there about 8:15 they close at 9 ask the food was old and the staff was actually putting food away while ppl were trying to make their plates, the person working the grill just turned the grill off and started cleaning it there was no steak, the salad was soggy IT WAS HORRIBLE I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!!!

Good breakfast lots of different choices. We really enjoyed having the eggs benedict fresh cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls. My son of course like the cookies and ice cream made into a sandwich. the coffee was wonderful.

What's not to like when you find a restaurant that meets all of your family's expectations? Always clean...The building, floors, food prep and serve areas are some of the cleanest I've seen at a buffet. Management and employees are friendly and attentive to customers. The cost per person is extremely reasonable, affording us the opportunity to enjoy dining away from home more often. And last, but most importantly, the food is fresh and served at correct temps, plus the variety will please most people. We've been to other types of buffets here in the Springs, and Country Buffet is hands down our favorite and the one we frequent the most often. Give Country Buffet a try. I think you'll like it!!

This is our go to place. The weekend breakfast menu is tops. Very clean. Staff is excellent. Food is well prepared and mostly tastefull. If you don't like something go get something else! We take advantage of all the discounts offered and there are many. The place is always packed for a reason. If you want high class go to the Broadmoor. Good food at low prices come here.

Went back for lunch today with friends - wow what an improvement. Sr lunch is $8 plus drink UNLESS you come after 1pm till 3pm then $8 with drink. Still a more limited selection but all was good. Salad selections were crisp and bright. Pork ribs and fried chicken good. Desert selection much improved and FRESH.

All of the food here is store bought and nasty. The restaurant is modern with a western vibe but it is way overpriced. Our server was great but she overheard us critiquing the food and simply smiled. If you eat here you damn yourself to terrible food, songs that skip over the loudspeakers and intolerable drinks.

It's the ghetto! I would rather eat a dead rat than being in here. I just wanted to puck. I will never come back in here again. Staled food, the chicken was tougher than a black burnt old donkey. The tacos where boring, no flavor at all! The corn was cold and the color was gray. Don't ever eat this place again. I would rather go to McDonalds and I hate McDonalds!

Used to be a regular about two to three times a month over thirty years. However, everything has slowly changed over the last two years. Employees are still great--those who are left... But the food has changed. Much smaller selection and all the food is no longer served from embedded steam trays where it was kept reasonably warm and you dished up exactly what you desire. Now everything sits on the top of the counter in small single serving cups and containers and is always lukewarm or stale. The biggest change was the grilled steak that were always hot off the grill and always tasty--but no longer. They now cook the steak ahead of time, and no longer serve it hot off the grill to customers, but slice into little one ounce portions to set on top of little cups of a paired starch like potatoes, or rice, etc. Each cup has only about an ounce of cold drying out steak on top of a half a cup of starch, like the starch or not. So, do not think your going to get there hot-off-the-grill steaks any longer and choose your own sides, it's not going to happen. It is obvious they are trying to save money by limiting the amount of the expensive ingredients served, giving you no option but to take your steak with a cheaper side portion to fill up on. The same goes for their pot roast and their shrimp, one ounce portions of protein over 4 ounce potatoes, rice grits, or veggies in a little cup. Their old time staff and managers say all this is due to the new CEO Anthony Wedo who is a "turn-a-round" expert....... I'm sure profits are up but sales will decline slowly over time as returning customers realize the folly and no longer return. Then a once good, traditional, American buffet restaurant will be gone. I am sure Wedo will take his money and run as the board realizes that permanent damage has been done to their brand. What a waste for everyone, especially loyal customers and staff who have stood by them for years. So, you best head to Golden Corral if you want a traditional all you can eat buffet. They still let you select every item, and as much or as little as you want. I just went and it was pretty good food.

DISAPPOINTED! You don't get steak included in your meal anymore, they charge you more if you want it. If you want a to-go cup, that's another up charge. The food was either over or under salted and over or under cooked. We can get better food, better service, better prices, and no "up charges" at Golden Corral.

After our most recent visit, I had to downgrade from 4 stars. The restaurant is clean and the waitstaff always friendly, however, our food experience was disappointing. My son was very disappointed that there is no longer a carving station for beef. The beef tips in mashed potatoes we got as a substitute were cold. Several of the sides were empty. The pizza was old enough to look completely unappealing. The soup and salad are always good. And my kids always enjoy the desserts.
